OLE! Modelo lechero
Descripción y evaluación de los componentes biofísicos de un modelo de simulación de granja completa para sistemas lecheros de base pastoril

El proceso de intensificación del sector lechero se ha caracterizado en las últimas décadas por el aumento de la producción por hectárea, el aumento de la carga animal, la inclusión de más concentrados en la dieta y la mejora del mérito genético de las vacas. El uso de modelos tiene ventajas productivas, ambientales y económicas. Los objetivos del estudio fueron describir un nuevo modelo, “OLE! Modelo lechero”, para (a) simular el desempeño biofísico del sistema de producción lechero basado en pastos; (b) evaluar la capacidad predictiva del modelo con un conjunto de parámetros estadísticos, comparando sus resultados con el desempeño biofísico de un estudio experimental, y (c) calibrar ajustando el coeficiente técnico. El diseño experimental combina dos estrategias de alimentación con diferente proporción de pasto en la dieta y dos genotipos animales. Realizamos una descripción del componente biofísico y los cálculos propuestos en el “OLE! Modelo lechero”. Luego se calculó una variedad de parámetros para la prueba del modelo, incluido el cuadrado medio del error, el error de predicción relativo, la raíz cuadrada del cuadrado medio del error, el coeficiente de correlación de concordancia y la eficiencia del modelo. El modelo presentó una buena capacidad predictiva para la carga animal y el consumo de concentrado, pasto y reserva. La capacidad predictiva del modelo para la producción individual y por área mejora luego de realizar una rápida calibración, lo que permite evitar sobreestimaciones o subestimaciones que generen mediciones erróneas en la planificación y la gestión de los sistemas de producción de leche, y puede ajustarse a diferentes condiciones de producción de la región.
