Abstract

The evaluation of forage legume implies in the selection of parameters that are related with its use. The evaluation of the forage potential of a legume involve the analysis of several characteristics, such as the nodulation capacity, response to cut of grazing, persistence and nutritional value, among others. On the other hand, the study of the growth model and development can be made by the growth analysis, demographic analysis and production components analysis. Finally, the legume growth form determines the adaptation degree to distinct ambient and management conditions.
