Special Issue

Dear colleagues:

In order to disseminate new advances in the knowledge of the geology of our country,
we are pleased to invite you to send works, which will be considered and evaluated for
publication in a Special Issue of the journal Agrociencia Uruguay “Advances in Geology
and Mineral Resources of Uruguay”.

Agrociencia is an Open Access journal and indexed in AmeliCa, CABI, Emerging
Source citation index and recently in Scopus (http://agrocienciauruguay.uy/), among
others.

Key dates:

Submission of work abstracts (optional but recommended): Until July 20, 2024

Acceptance notification: Aug 10, 2024

Submission of full articles for review: Until Oct 31, 2024

The thematic areas are the following:

2) Sedimentary Basins
3) Mesozoic magmatism
4) Geology of the Precambrian
5) Geological heritage
6) Environmental Geology
7) Mineral resources
8) Underground water resources

Attached you can find the template that you must follow to write your work.
The works must be written in English to give greater international visibility to the
articles. Agrociencia provides a subsidized translation service of USD156 for
Uruguayan authors or USD 200 for authors from abroad, if useful. The publication of
the article has no cost.

The works will be corrected by two reviewers in the double-blind modality (neither
authors nor reviewers will know their identities), we ask for this reason and for good
organization that the deadlines are respected.
